1712 Villa Carre' What to expect.

 

The Property Layout & Facilities:

Behind the beautiful original ornate iron gates, through the front door we reveal the hallway which opens into the fully equipped modern kitchen. The property has a separate utility room just off the hallway. Just inside the gates there are secure bike racks for four bikes. 

From the fully equipped kitchen you enter the open plan lounge and dining room.  The lounge has a large smart TV offering French TV package and Netflix.

Upstairs on the landing there is access to the sun terrace, which also boasts a office space. 

First floor there is access to a beautiful bedroom furnished in a traditional French style awaits you just off of the landing. This bedroom has a generous, modern, fully tiled en-suite shower room with smart electric heater. From this bedroom, you can also access the sun terrace.

On the next floor is the second bedroom which is very generous and also has its own en-suite shower room. This bedroom boasts the original steel joist which was just too beautiful to cover up so it is now exposed and is a feature of the bedroom, also smart electric heater.

Both bedrooms enjoy views of the largest Collégiale within France.

The sun terrace is a private space and it is south facing with a covered area for those searching for the shade. The terrace is equipped with sun loungers, easy chairs, a barbecue and a table and chairs for alfresco dining.  

The property is equipped with fibre internet for our guests’ convenience and is free of charge.

Towels and bedlinen are provided, hair dryers and toiletries.

There is a wood burner in lounge dining room plus electric heater for additional warmth.

The property is well located in the centre of the town with bars and restaurants on the doorstep.  Pick up your daily bread at the local boulangerie and general provisions at the local food store and support local producers at the weekly market.

The train station is just a ten minutes’ walk away which gives easy access to Limoges and Poitiers.

Parking is close by and free of charge.

Reservation Policies of the Property:

For the comfort of all guests, we ask to respect and abode our no smoking policy whilst inside the property.

Maximum occupancy is four people.

There are no additional beds available.

We invite guests over the age of Two. Travel cot will be required.

We do not allow certain pets, please inquire.

Minimum stay two nights.

Booking and Cancellation Policy: For a two week booking 20% deposit will be required. If cancelled one month before booking date 10% of the deposit will be refunded. If cancelled less than a month before deposit non-refundable. 

Check In times are 14.00hrs to 17.00hrs this will be meet and greet as we live in Le Dorat. If we are not available a key will be left in the key safe.
